Mark Hayden-Kellard - Director/owner of Berkshire school of polo

Mark is the owner of The Berkshire School of Polo and head coach at The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. He has played polo for close to 20 years and has been a pro player for eleven. He comes from an Eventing/Hunting background and has represented his country both at home and abroad.

Mark has been an affiliated HPA (Hurlingham Polo Association) coach since 1997. He has a wealth of experience and has started many players into the addictive sport of polo. Mark has a handicap of 2 goals.

Tim Bown

The Polo School was happy to have Tim join them in September 05. Tim came up through the polo club system and has been a professional player for 20 years. He has achieved a handicap of 4 goals. He worked for many years for Nick Williams at Cirencester trained a number of beginners as well as coaching established players. Tim’s strengths are his tactical polo brain, he has played for England many times abroad, often taking young players under his wing in the process. Countries where Tim has played include: Argentina, New Zealand, Spain, USA, France, Russia and his many friends in Jamaica and Barbados welcome him back every year. Currently rated at 8 goals in the arena (handicaps range from 0-10) Tim is the joint highest handicapped arena player in the country and captained this years Gold Cup winning team.

He is quite the Snow Polo specialist having played in Russia, Aspen, Megeve and St Moritz.
